The aging monk is thought-provoking. I guess he's just going to
stand there for eternity, with the status of his body (dead or alive)
not relevant, because he's completely consumed by his spiritual side.
The realistic details in the far distance (house, grass, trees, mountains)
add to the credibility of the scene. (Surrealism should have a basis of realism to it, right?)
In an age where the word art has been diluted to refer to mere pretty pictures,
I think you are truly deserving of the title of artist.
